Location Tracking is essential to wireless protection as it provides network managers with the information necessary to take corrective action when a security threat is recognized.

The IT staff can select specific 802.11 clients (authorized or unauthorized) and accurately track them as they roam throughout a network. This improves WLAN security, enables real-time capacity management, and provides unique WLAN system management capabilities for more efficient wireless operations. With the use
of RF fingerprinting technology detailed location information, to within a few meters, of the intruding wireless devices can be obtained.

  Advantages of Location Tracking Technology:

• Rapidly identifies where rogue access points or ad-hoc networks are physically located for positive   identification and containment.
• Identifies sources of unusual WLAN behavior, such as excessive traffic generation that could be attributed to   a Denial of Service (DoS) attack.
• Creates and enforces location-based policies (e.g., VLANs and QoS).
• Tracks wireless assets.

Our Phased Approaches:

• Working with your key IT staff and management team we determine your business and technology   requirements.
• Learn and understand your current implementation.
• Determine ways to advance your current wireless implementation.
• Provide different design alternatives that meet your requirements and address any shortcomings in your   current design.
• Assist your key IT staff and business managers in deciding on the final design.
• Prepare the final wireless design and implementation plan.
• Pilot, test and approve.
• Work with your IT staff to implement the new design.
